The posts include Senior Resident across 27 specialties, Junior and Senior Demonstrators across multiple departments and Senior Medical Officer at PGIMER Chandigarh and PGI Satellite Centre, Sangrur. Applications are open from 16 October 2026 to 13 November 2026 at pgimer.edu.in. The Computer Based Test is on 5 December 2026. All appointments are tenure-based for a maximum of three years.
Important Note
1. Apply for one department only. Candidates must apply for one post in one department. Where the same department has vacancies at both Chandigarh and Sangrur, indicate your institute preference during the application. Candidates who do not indicate a preference will not be considered for that institute.
2. Qualifying degree must be obtained by 31 December 2026. Candidates appearing in their December 2026 final examination may apply, but must submit the pass certificate before 31 December 2026. Candidates whose result is declared after that date are not eligible.
3. No UPI payments. The application fee must be paid using a Debit Card, Credit Card or Net Banking. PGIMER advises applicants not to use UPI for fee payment. Application entries cannot be changed after submission.
