The Indian Army has invited applications for the 10+2 Technical Entry Scheme (TES-57) for the July 2027 course, offering 90 provisional vacancies for Permanent Commission as a commissioned officer. Unmarried male candidates who have passed Class 12 with at least 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and have appeared in JEE Main 2026 can apply online at joinindianarmy.nic.in. Applications are open from 14 October 2026 and close on 12 November 2026 at 12:00 noon. Selected candidates undergo four years of integrated military and engineering training, after which they are commissioned as a Lieutenant.
Important Note
1. JEE Main 2026 is mandatory. Shortlisting is based on the JEE Main 2026 Common Rank List (CRL), not on PCM marks or any other examination. Candidates who did not appear in JEE Main 2026 are not eligible.
2. There is no stipend during the first 3 years of training at the Cadets Training Wing. A stipend of Rs. 56,100 per month is paid only during the 4th year (IMA phase). After commissioning, the Level 10 pay scale applies.
3. Candidates who marry after applying, or during training, will not be commissioned. Marriage during training can lead to discharge and recovery of training expenditure.
