  3. Candidates already engaged on Tenure Basis as CPW/DBW with the 3-month training certificate from MIL Group Factories (1 month in-house on Safe Handling of explosives/ammunition/safety norms + 2 months On-Job Training)
  4. Trade apprentices from feeder stream trades (Ordnance Factories and Govt./Private Organizations with Govt. affiliation and Govt. ITI)

Feeder trade candidates (other than AOCP) who are selected and do not already hold the 3-month training certificate will be given mandatory 1-month in-house training followed by 2 months On-Job Training, after which a certificate valid across all MIL Group Factories will be issued. These candidates must sign the consent/undertaking at Appendix-III.

The marks of the NCVT NAC mark sheet are used for preparing the merit list.

Termination: Either party may terminate the engagement at any time during the tenure by giving one month’s notice, or by paying Basic Pay + DA in lieu of notice.


Selection Process

There is no written examination. Selection is merit-based in two stages:

Stage 1 – Merit List Preparation:
A merit list is prepared based on NCVT NAC mark sheet marks, with a cut-off percentage determined by HEF based on total marks secured. Candidates are called for the Trade Test/Practical Test.

Stage 2 – Trade Test/Practical Test:
Shortlisted candidates appear for a practical Trade Test. The final merit list is prepared using:

Stage 3 – Document Verification:
Candidates from the merit list (in order of rank, limited to the number of posts) are called for Document Verification. If a candidate is found ineligible at DV due to missing documents or non-eligibility, the next candidate in merit order will be considered.
