Uniform Eligibility Criteria – Applicable to All Posts and All Categories
Under Government of Arunachal Pradesh Notification No. AR-33/17/2026-SECT-1-AR/111 dated 26 August 2026, every candidate for every post in this examination must satisfy all three of the following conditions:
- Be a citizen of India and an original inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh holding a valid Permanent Residence Certificate (PRC) issued by the competent authority.
- Be an original inhabitant of Arunachal Pradesh holding a valid APST (Arunachal Pradesh Scheduled Tribe) certificate under the Constitution (Scheduled Tribes) Order, 1950.
- Be able to speak an indigenous tribal language of Arunachal Pradesh and have working knowledge of local indigenous tribes.
The UR (Unreserved) vacancies shown in the tables are the unreserved share of posts within the APST-PRC pool – they are not open to candidates from outside Arunachal Pradesh. Candidates who do not hold both the APST certificate and PRC are not eligible to apply for any post in this examination.

ANM Competency Test (Stage IV)
Candidates shortlisted at 1:3 of vacancies on written exam merit appear for a practical test of four stations – vital signs; maternal and child health; infection control protocol; basic midwifery procedure. Each station is 5 minutes and 10 marks; qualifying marks are 7 per station. Each candidate attempts 3 of 4 stations and must score 21 out of 30 to qualify.
How to Apply for APSSB NMTE 2026
- Visit the official APSSB website at apssb.nic.in. The application link opens on 21 October 2026 at 3:00 PM.
- Enter the details of one photo identity document – Aadhaar, Voter ID, Driving Licence, PAN, or another Government photo ID. The same document in original must be carried to the exam along with the admit card. The name and father’s name on the document must match the admit card exactly.
- Mark your preferences for posts and departments in the order of your choice. Preferences can only be marked against posts you are eligible for, and the order you enter is final.
- Upload: scanned signature on white paper in black ink (10-50 KB, JPG/JPEG/PNG), recent passport-size photograph (50-100 KB, JPG/JPEG/PNG), and copies of relevant educational and technical certificates.
- PwBD/PwD candidates requiring a scribe or compensatory time must opt for it in the form and upload the required Annexure (I, IA, II, or IIA from the APSSB Candidates Corner on apssb.nic.in).
- Pay Rs. 150 online and submit. Check every entry carefully before submitting – no edits are possible after the closing date.
- If more than one form is submitted for the same post, only the latest submission is considered.
- Download the admit card from apssb.nic.in when released. Admit cards are not posted individually.

- This examination is restricted to original indigenous inhabitants of Arunachal Pradesh holding both an APST certificate and a PRC. Candidates from outside Arunachal Pradesh are not eligible.
