Educational Qualification

Geologist Group A

Master’s Degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Geological Science, Geo-Exploration, Mineral Exploration, Engineering Geology, Marine Geology, Earth Science, or an equivalent discipline.

Geophysicist Group A

Master’s Degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Geophysics, Marine Geophysics, or related subjects.

Chemist Group A

Master’s Degree in Chemistry, Applied Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or equivalent.

Scientist B

Master’s Degree in Geology, Applied Geology, Marine Geology, or equivalent qualification.

Assistant Hydrogeologist / Chemist / Geophysicist

Relevant Master’s Degree in the concerned discipline as specified by UPSC.
