A total of 710 seats are notified across three categories: Trade Apprentices (ITI) – 516 posts, Technician (Diploma) Apprentices – 124 posts, and Graduate Apprentices – 70 posts. Candidates must apply online on the Apprenticeship India portal (for ITI trades) or NATS portal (for Graduate/Diploma) by 20 October 2026 and then attend a trade-wise walk-in selection at BSP Bhilai between 27 October and 21 November 2026. There is no written test – selection is purely merit-based on academic marks.
Important Note: Three things every candidate must know. First, online registration and application on the respective portal (Apprenticeship India for ITI/Trade, NATS for Graduate/Diploma) is mandatory BEFORE attending the walk-in. Applications not registered on the portal will not be accepted at the walk-in. Second, only candidates who passed their qualifying examination between 2022 and 2026 are eligible. Candidates with results still awaited and those who have already completed or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training anywhere are NOT eligible. Third, BSP does not guarantee regular employment to any apprentice after or during the training period. This is purely a training engagement under the Apprentices Act.
