This exam is strictly for in-service teachers only. Candidates must be currently employed in the post for which they are appearing. Fresh candidates, job seekers, and candidates not currently serving in a school are NOT eligible.

Secondary – Part B Subjects (each at graduate level):
Content is drawn from Madhya Pradesh Class 9 and 10 syllabus topics but tested at graduate-level difficulty. For language subjects, expect grammar, literature comprehension, linguistics and language pedagogy. For Mathematics, expect algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, calculus basics and mathematical pedagogy. For Science, expect physics, chemistry and biology topics and science pedagogy. For Social Science, expect history, geography, civics, economics and social science pedagogy.

How to Apply for MPESB MSPSTET 2026
- Visit the official website esb.mp.gov.in or the MP Online portal at mponline.gov.in and go to the Citizen Services section.
- Click on the application link for Eligibility Test 2026 for Teachers Teaching in Primary and Secondary Classes.
- Register and log in to the application portal using your valid email address and mobile number.
- Select the appropriate paper – Primary Teacher Eligibility Test or Secondary Teacher Eligibility Test – as per your current designation. You may apply for both if you are eligible for both levels, paying the fee separately for each.
- Fill in all required personal, academic and service-related information carefully. An incomplete application form cannot be submitted.
- Upload your colour photograph, signature and handwriting sample in the prescribed format. The handwriting sample must include the declaration text specified in the rule book, written in your own handwriting.
- Upload a scanned copy of your original appointment order (mandatory), along with your school’s DISE Code. Government school teachers must also provide their Unique ID or IFMIS Code.
- Pay the exam fee of Rs. 1,000 per paper plus the applicable MP Online portal charges via credit card, debit card, net banking or an authorized MP Online kiosk.
- Review all entries before final submission. After submission, use the correction window (21 August to 09 September 2026) to fix any errors, paying the correction fee where applicable.
- Download and save your completed application form printout. Admit cards will be available on the official website closer to the exam date.

Important Instructions
- Aadhaar registration is mandatory for all candidates. Multi-level biometric verification will be conducted at the exam centre entry and during the exam. Candidates must ensure their Aadhaar is unlocked at the time of verification.
- Candidates must carry one original government-issued photo identity proof (Voter ID, PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, Driving Licence or Passport) to the examination centre. A printed or downloaded e-Aadhaar is valid only if verified through the UIDAI portal.
- Candidates will be permitted entry into the exam room only up to the specified reporting time mentioned on the admit card. No entry will be allowed after the gate closes.
- Electronic devices including mobile phones, calculators, log tables, digital watches and sunglasses are strictly prohibited inside the exam room. Any candidate found with such material may be debarred.
- Candidates must bring a black ball-point pen and the downloaded admit card (Test Admit Card – TAC) to the examination hall.
- No candidate will be permitted to leave the exam room between the commencement and conclusion of the examination.
- Scribe (writer) facility and compensatory time are available for visually impaired candidates, candidates with upper limb disabilities, cerebral palsy candidates, and certain other specified PwD categories. Applications for scribe facility must be submitted to the Board at least 10 days before the exam date, along with supporting documents and a prescribed affidavit.
- This exam’s qualification certificate is valid only for continued service eligibility of existing in-service teachers. It will NOT be accepted as a valid TET certificate for future direct recruitment to any government teacher post in Madhya Pradesh or elsewhere.
- Re-totalling or re-evaluation of results is not permitted under any circumstances once the result is declared by the Board.
- In-service teachers recruited before the Right to Education (RTE) Act came into force, and who have more than 5 years of service remaining, must qualify TET by 31 August 2028 as per the Supreme Court order. Teachers with less than 5 years of service remaining may continue in service without qualifying TET but cannot be considered for promotion without it.
