The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) has published the revised Super TET 2026 syllabus and examination pattern for Assistant Teacher recruitment. The pattern covers Primary Teachers (Classes 1–5) and Upper Primary Teachers (Classes 6–8). The written examination has 120 MCQs for 360 marks in 120 minutes, with +3 marks for a correct answer and −1 for an incorrect one. The tentative exam dates are 3 and 4 December 2026.
Important Note
1. The marking is +3 per correct answer and −1 per wrong answer — not a simple 1-mark pattern. A wrong answer costs one mark but a right answer earns three. Avoid random guessing.
2. Primary and Upper Primary examinations have the same marks total (360) and duration (120 minutes) but different structures. The Primary paper covers 10 subject groups; the Upper Primary paper has a compulsory GK section and one 90-question subject paper.
3. The tentative examination dates are 3 and 4 December 2026. Check upessc.up.gov.in for official exam date confirmation and admit card notices.
