Important Note

2. All engagements are purely contractual. Selected candidates have no claim to regularisation of service. A security deposit of Rs. 10,000 by demand draft is required at the time of joining.

Contractual Super Specialist — Specialty-wise Breakdown (8 posts)

Eligibility and Pay
1. Senior Resident (Under Residency Scheme)
Qualification: PG Degree or PG Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university, registered with Delhi Medical Council (DMC) or Medical Council of India (MCI). If PG candidates are not available, MBBS doctors with 2 years’ experience (1 year in the concerned specialty from a Government or Private hospital — not a private clinic) may be appointed for 1 year on contract, as per latest NMC guidelines.
Age: Not exceeding 45 years as on 3 November 2026. Relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules.
Pay:
- PG Degree holder: Rs. 67,700 per month (Level 11, 7th CPC) + allowances. Rs. 1,350 per month is deducted if the candidate holds only a diploma.
- Non-PG SR (1-year contract): Consolidated pay of Rs. 1,50,294 per month.
2. Full Time Contractual Specialist
Qualification: MBBS + PG Degree/Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university + 3 years’ experience after PG Degree or 5 years’ after PG Diploma, registered with DMC or MCI. For Dental (Endodontist): MDS (Endodontics) + 3 years’ experience after PG Degree, registered with Delhi Dental Council (DDC) or National Dental Commission (NDC).
Age: Not exceeding 69 years as on 3 November 2026.
Pay:
- Junior Specialist (Level 11; 3 years’ experience post PG as per RR): Rs. 1,50,294 per month.
- Senior Specialist (Level 12; 5 years’ experience post PG as per RR): Rs. 1,74,936 per month.
3. Full Time / Part Time Contractual Super Specialist
Qualification: MBBS + MD/MS/DNB + DM/DNB/M.Ch in the concerned super specialty from an MCI-recognised Medical College, registered with DMC or MCI.
Experience:
- Entry Level: 3 years’ experience in the concerned super specialty after obtaining the first PG degree, or 5 years’ after a PG diploma.
- Senior Level: 5 years’ experience in the concerned super specialty after obtaining the first PG degree.
Age: Not exceeding 69 years as on 3 November 2026.
Pay — Full Time:
- Super Specialist (Entry Level): Rs. 2,00,000 per month.
- Consultant (Senior Level): Rs. 2,40,000 per month.
Pay — Part Time (4 hours per day, 4 days per week):
- Entry Level Option 1: Rs. 1,00,000 per month + Rs. 20,000 visiting charge per emergency call. Additional remuneration of Rs. 1,200 per hour beyond 16 hours per week.
- Consultant Senior Level Option 1: Rs. 1,50,000 per month + Rs. 20,000 visiting charge per emergency call. Additional remuneration of Rs. 1,500 per hour beyond 16 hours per week.

Important Instructions
- Private practice of any kind is not allowed for full time contractual engagements.
- Selected candidates must deposit Rs. 10,000 by demand draft or banker’s cheque in favour of ‘ESIC Fund account no. 1’, payable at New Delhi, at the time of joining. This is refundable after completing the minimum tenure (including a 30-day notice period) and producing a No Dues Certificate.
- At the time of joining, candidates must sign an agreement on a non-judiciary stamp paper of Rs. 100.
- Absence from work for 10 days without permission constitutes abandonment of engagement.
- If a selected candidate resigns within 6 months of commencement, an experience certificate will not be issued.
- No TA/DA is paid for attending the interview or for joining.
