Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must be Indian citizens, of sound mind and body, of good moral character, and must not have been convicted in any criminal case. For Peon and Daftari posts, candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) or its equivalent. For the Driver post, candidates must have passed Matriculation or its equivalent along with a valid light motor vehicle driving licence. The age limit as on 1 August 2026 is a minimum of 18 years, with a maximum of 35 years for General category, 37 years for BC/EBC category, 38 years for women, and 40 years for SC/ST candidates (male/female).

Selection Process

For the Peon post, selection will be through a Screening Test and Interview. For the Daftari post, selection will be through a Skill Test and Interview as a direct recruitment process. For the Driver post, selection will be through a Screening Test as per the driving rules, followed by an Interview.

How to Apply (Offline)

  1. Download the prescribed application format (Form A and Form B) from the official District Court Khunti website.
  2. Fill Form A by hand in Hindi and self-attest it, along with the required declarations.
  3. Fill Form B (admit card format) as instructed, leaving the columns meant for office use blank.
  4. Attach self-attested copies of all educational qualification certificates and category certificates, as applicable.
  5. Affix three recent passport-size photographs, with one pasted on the application form, one on the admit card, and one kept as spare.
  6. Enclose a self-addressed envelope measuring 25 cm x 11 cm with a Rs. 40 postage stamp affixed for the admit card to be sent by post.
  7. Send the completed application only through Registered Post or Speed Post to the Officer-in-Charge, Vyavhar Nyayalay, Khunti, PIN Code 835210, to reach before 10 September 2026.

Important Instructions

Candidates can apply for only one post under this recruitment. Applications with incomplete information or without the required certificates will be rejected. Only applications received through Registered Post or Speed Post will be accepted; applications received after the last date will not be considered. No travelling allowance will be paid for attending the examination or interview.
