Eligibility Criteria

This recruitment is open exclusively to retired Short Service Commission Officers from the Indian Army, Navy, Air Force, or Coast Guard. Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline along with professional qualifications including a Basic ATC Course/ATM and AL (Basic) and a GCA/ATSS Course. Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of cumulative Air Traffic Control duties experience, including at least 1 year served at a Joint User Defence Airfield. The gap since retirement from Defence service must not exceed 6 years. The maximum age limit is 50 years as of 1 October 2026, with no engagement extended beyond the age of 55.

Compensation Structure

Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration calculated by deducting their basic pension from their last drawn retirement pay equivalent. No annual increments apply to this remuneration structure, since this is a consultancy engagement rather than a regular appointment.

Selection Process
