Canara Bank has released the notification for the Engagement of Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for FY 2026-27, covering 3,500 training seats across states and Union Territories. Graduates in any discipline aged 20 to 28 years can apply online from 1 October 2026 to 17 October 2026. Selected apprentices receive a stipend of Rs. 16,650 per month for a 12-month training period.
Important Note: Three things to check before applying. First, you must complete a 100% profile on the NATS apprenticeship portal first, then apply through the Bank’s website – applications without a valid NATS enrollment are not possible. Second, you can opt for only one State, and if you did not study the local language in Class 10 or 12, you must pass a local language test at document verification or you will not be engaged. Third, this is an apprenticeship, not a regular bank job – apprentices are not employees of Canara Bank, and the engagement does not guarantee a job.
