Selection Process

The selection is based on a Computer Based Response Test (CBRT)/OMR-based objective exam of 210 marks and 3 hours duration, divided into two parts:

Part A (90 marks): Reasoning & Data Interpretation (30 marks), Quantitative Aptitude (30 marks), Constitution/Current Affairs/Gujarati-English Comprehension (30 marks).

Part B (120 marks): Statistics (30 marks), Official Statistics (30 marks), Mathematics (30 marks), Economics (30 marks).

Candidates must secure a minimum of 40% independently in both Part A and Part B, for all categories. Negative marking of 1/4 mark applies for each incorrect answer. Candidates are shortlisted for document verification at approximately twice the category-wise vacancies based on provisional merit, and the final merit list is prepared based on exam scores, subject to category-wise vacancy availability.
