Railway Recruitment Cell, Western Railway (RRC/WR), Ministry of Railways, Government of India, has invited online applications for 64 posts under Sports Quota, vide Notification No. RRC/WR/01/2026 dated 27 August 2026. Online applications open on 1 September 2026 at 10:00 Hrs and close on 30 September 2026 at 18:00 Hrs.
Important – Read Before You Apply: Three things about this recruitment matter before you apply. First, this is a Sports Quota recruitment, so selection depends heavily on verified sports achievements and trial performance, not just academic qualification – candidates need genuine, verifiable sports certificates for the achievement window specified. Second, the sports achievement window runs from 1 April 2024 up to the notification date, so only achievements within that period count. Third, the application fee is refundable, but only on attending the trials – skipping the trial after applying means forfeiting the refund.
