Eligibility to Apply
KRCL recruitment is open to the following categories only:
- Land Loser candidates – persons whose land was acquired for construction of the Konkan Railway line between Roha (Maharashtra) and Thokur (Karnataka), and their spouse, son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter, regardless of the percentage of land lost. The Track Maintainer post is exclusively for Land Loser candidates.
- Employment Exchange-registered candidates – domiciles of Maharashtra, Goa or Karnataka with valid employment exchange cards registered in: Raigad, Sindhudurg, Ratnagiri districts (Maharashtra); Goa State; or Uttara Kannada, Udupi, Dakshina Kannada districts (Karnataka).
- Domicile candidates – persons domiciled in Maharashtra, Goa or Karnataka not covered under the above two categories.
- Serving KRCL employees with at least 3 years of regular KRCL service.
Preference in selection: Land Losers (1st) → Employment Exchange registered (2nd) → Domicile/KRCL employees (3rd). The 2nd and 3rd panels are drawn only after the Land Loser panel is exhausted.
