MIZORAM PSC SOIL CONSERVATION RANGER RECRUITMENT 2026

The Mizoram Public Service Commission (MPSC) has released Advertisement No. 21 of 2026-2027 (Memo No. A.12026/37/2025-MPSC(PRE)) dated 28 July 2026 inviting online applications for 5 posts of Soil Conservation Ranger under the Department of Land Resources, Soil and Water Conservation, Government of Mizoram. The post is classified Group ‘B’ (Gazetted) and carries Level 7 in the Pay Matrix. Recruitment is through a Direct Recruitment Examination conducted by the Commission. Candidates holding a Degree in Forestry, Agriculture, Agriculture Engineering, Horticulture or Science, aged 18 to 35 years as on 1 August 2026, may apply online only through the MPSC online portal after completing One-Time Registration (OTR). The last date to apply is 31 August 2026 up to 4:00 PM.

Important Note: The MPSC website blocks automated access, so the details below are drawn from the official Advertisement No. 21 of 2026-27 PDF hosted on mpsc.mizoram.gov.in and candidates must read that PDF in full before applying. Three points need particular attention. First, the Aadhaar Card is not accepted as proof of date of birth for this recruitment, following the UIDAI clarification, so candidates must arrange HSLC/HSSLC certificates, Voter ID or a Digitized Birth Certificate instead. Second, the exact application fee amount is not stated in the notification, only that payment must be made through UPI using the OTR-registered mobile number. Third, the notification does not give a category-wise (UR/SC/ST/OBC) breakup of the 5 posts, nor does it set out the detailed stages of the examination or an exam date. Where a detail is not in the notification, this post says so rather than filling the gap.
