Role Overview
The GM-VIF will head NTA’s internal vigilance, investigations, and digital forensics function – investigating suspected cases of malpractice, paper leaks, impersonation networks, examination fraud, and integrity breaches, while building institutional capability for digital forensics, intelligence-led prevention, and inter-agency coordination. The GM-VIF will act as NTA’s senior-most investigation officer and principal interface with agencies like the CBI, Intelligence Bureau, Enforcement Directorate, State Police, and Cyber-crime units, reporting directly to the Director General.
Essential Qualifications
- Graduate degree from a recognised university or institution of repute. A Post-Graduate qualification in Law (LL.M.), Public Administration, Forensic Science, Criminology, Cyber Security, or allied discipline is a strong advantage.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Law (LL.B.) is highly desirable.
- Consistently good academic record.
- Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience in investigation, vigilance, intelligence, law-enforcement, digital forensics, or anti-fraud functions.
