The Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL), a Government Company under the Government of Telangana and Government of India, has released a circular (Ref. No. CRP/HRD/V/G&D/2026/1185 dated 05 August 2026) from its HRD Department inviting applications for 300 Graduate (Engineering and Non-Engineering) and Diploma Apprenticeship slots for 2026-2027 under the Apprentices Act, 1961 at SCCL Areas in Telangana and Naini, Odisha. The slots are distributed as 150 for Engineering Graduates across 7 branches, 100 for Non-Engineering Graduates across 6 branches, and 50 for Diploma Holders across 4 branches. Candidates who passed in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026 only are eligible. The SCCL portal closes on 16 August 2026 at 5:00 PM and the hard-copy submission at the Area MVTC/GVTC must also happen by 16 August 2026 at 5:00 PM. There is no application fee. Monthly stipend is Rs. 12,300 for Graduates and Rs. 10,900 for Diploma Holders, shared 50:50 by SCCL and NATS 2.0 and credited through DBT. Important Note – ACT NOW, DEADLINE IS 16 AUGUST 2026: Three things every applicant must complete before 5:00 PM on 16 August 2026. First, this is a two-step mandatory process and BOTH steps must be done within the same window – register on the NATS 2.0 portal (nats.education.gov.in), then apply on the SCCL portal (scclmines.com/apprenticeship), AND ALSO physically submit the hard-copy application with certificates at your nearest Area MVTC or GVTC by 16 August 2026, 5:00 PM. If the hard copy is not submitted at the MVTC, your application will not appear in the received list and you will not be considered, regardless of whether you completed the online steps. Second, you must have a Union Bank of India account at one of the SCCL salary-disbursing branches, with Aadhaar seeding, e-KYC and DBT enabled – 50% of your stipend is transferred through DBT directly to this account. If Aadhaar is not linked, SCCL will not be responsible for non-payment. You will be given time to submit the passbook after selection, but arrange a UBI account at a designated branch as soon as possible after being selected. Third, the name, date of birth and other details entered on the NATS portal and the SCCL portal must exactly match your SSC certificate, Aadhaar card and Degree or Diploma certificate – any mismatch leads to rejection at MVTC scrutiny without any intimation. How to Apply for SCCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026-27
Step 1: Register on the NATS 2.0 portal – Click Here. Fill all required fields and upload certificate copies to obtain your Registration Number.
Step 2: Apply on the official SCCL apprenticeship portal – Click Here – using the same email ID and mobile number as the NATS portal. Read the terms and conditions carefully. Upload all required original certificates as soft copies (PDF, 50 KB to 250 KB). Upload your photograph (JPEG).
Step 3: Take printouts of the signed SCCL portal application, the NATS 2.0 registration form, and the first page of your UBI bank account passbook.
Step 4: Submit these hard copies along with all required certificate copies at your nearest Area MVTC or GVTC from the list above, before 5:00 PM on 16 August 2026.
All four steps must be completed. Missing the hard-copy submission at the MVTC means your application is not considered.
Important Instructions
- Both online and hard-copy steps are mandatory. Hard copy not received at MVTC = not in the received list = not considered.
- Passing year must be 2022 to 2026. Earlier batches are rejected at scrutiny.
- Candidates already doing or having done an apprenticeship anywhere under the Apprentices Act are not eligible.
- Use the same email ID and mobile number on both portals and do not change them until the process ends.
- Name, date of birth, father’s or mother’s name and year of passing on both portals must exactly match the SSC certificate, Aadhaar and Degree or Diploma certificate. A mismatch causes rejection without intimation.
- For married women, the surname in Aadhaar and NATS must match the surname in the SSC certificate.
- A Union Bank of India account at a designated SCCL salary-disbursing branch, with Aadhaar seeding and DBT enabled, is mandatory for stipend receipt. The bank account registered in NATS should not receive any scholarship or other DBT credits.
- No TA or DA is admissible for joining the apprenticeship if selected.
- Training is terminated without intimation for more than 20 consecutive days of unauthorised absence, or 40 days of cumulative absence. At least 240 musters are required to receive the Apprenticeship Certificate.
- In case of termination or absconding, the cost of training is recoverable from the candidate under Section 7 of the Apprentices Act, 1961.
- Selected candidates must take out the Union Bank of India Rs. 30 Lakh Group Accidental Insurance Policy by paying approximately Rs. 750 at the time of joining.
- Apprenticeship confers no right of employment in SCCL. There is no quota or preference for SCCL apprentices in selection for regular jobs.
- SCCL reserves the right to extend the portal last date or the MVTC submission deadline.
