SBI PO Prelims Result 2026 Expected Soon

The State Bank of India (SBI) is expected to declare the Preliminary Examination Result 2026 for Probationary Officers (PO) by the end of August 2026 on its official careers portal at sbi.co.in/web/careers, for the exam held on 1 and 2 August 2026 under Advertisement No. CRPD/PO/2026-27/09. Approximately 11 lakh candidates appeared across multiple shifts for 1,500 PO vacancies. Shortlisted candidates will advance to the Mains Examination scheduled for 12 September 2026. The Prelims result will be available in login format using Registration Number or Roll Number and Date of Birth. The Prelims is a qualifying stage only — marks are not added to the final merit list.

Important – Read Before You Check: Two things to act on once the result is declared. First, download both the result (qualifying status) and the scorecard as a PDF immediately after they go live — SBI historically makes scorecards available for a limited window only; the portal experiences extremely high traffic on result day and the scorecard link may not remain active indefinitely, so do not delay by relying on screenshots. Second, a “Selected” status in Prelims only qualifies you for the Mains — not for final selection — the Prelims marks are strictly qualifying in nature and carry no weight in the final merit list; start Mains preparation immediately while waiting for the official scorecard.
