Important Note: Four critical points every MTET 2026 applicant must act on immediately. First, and most urgently, ALL previously issued MTET 2026 Admit Cards and Roll Sheets stand cancelled – do not carry your old Admit Card to the examination hall; it will not be accepted. You must re-download the new Admit Card from www.mbseonline.com between 18 and 27 August 2026 using your registered account. Eligibility – Who Appears in MTET 2026
For Paper I (Primary Stage – Classes I to V):
- Senior Secondary (Class 12th) or equivalent with at least 45% marks, and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.) recognised by NCTE; OR
- Senior Secondary (Class 12th) with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (B.El.Ed.); OR
- Senior Secondary (Class 12th) with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education); OR
- Graduation and passed or appearing in a 2-year D.El.Ed.
For Paper II (Upper Primary Stage – Classes VI to VIII):
- Graduation and passed or appearing in a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed.); OR
- Graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed.); OR
- Graduation with at least 45% marks and passed or appearing in a 1-year B.Ed. (recognised by NCTE); OR

How to Download the New MTET 2026 Admit Card
- Wait until 18 August 2026 (Tuesday) – the Admit Card download opens only on this date.
- Visit the MBSE Online Portal: www.mbseonline.com
- Log in using your registered credentials (Application Number / Registration ID and Password/Date of Birth).
- Navigate to the “Admit Card” section for MTET 2026.
- Download the new Admit Card – note that new roll numbers have been assigned. Do not use your old roll number or old Admit Card.
- Verify all details on the new Admit Card: Name, Photograph, Roll Number, Paper(s), Exam Centre, Date (28 August 2026), and Timing.
- Print the Admit Card on A4 paper and carry it to the examination centre along with a valid original Photo ID.
