The Written Examination consists of 100 questions carrying 100 marks, to be completed in 90 minutes in OMR-based format, with a negative marking of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer. Candidates who qualify the written exam proceed to the Physical Standard Test (PST), which measures height, chest, and weight, conducted at a 1:5 shortlist ratio based on written exam marks. This is followed by the Physical Endurance Test (PET), covering run, jump, and shot-put events, which is qualifying in nature and does not carry marks. Candidates then undergo a Medical Examination assessing vision, hearing, and overall fitness. The Final Merit List is prepared based on marks obtained in the written examination alone.
