DRDO CVRDE ITI Apprentice Trainees Recruitment 2026 - Walk-in for 93 Posts

The Combat Vehicles Research and Development Establishment (CVRDE), a premier laboratory of the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) under the Ministry of Defence, has released a notification inviting applications for engagement of ITI Apprentice Trainees across 18 trades for 93 vacancies. Minimum age for all categories is 18 years.

Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold an ITI certificate from an NCVT/SCVT recognised institute in a minimum 2-year trade, with exceptions for COPA, Painter, Plumber, Welder, and Food Production trades. Only candidates who passed their qualifying ITI examination in 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible. Private candidates are not eligible to apply.

Application Fee

No application fee is applicable, as no formal application submission is required for this walk-in recruitment.

Stipend

Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend ranging from Rs. 10,560 to Rs. 11,040, depending on the trade.

Selection Process

Shortlisting will be done based on marks obtained in the ITI examination, followed by a walk-in interview on the specified dates. Selected candidates will receive their joining letters on the same day at the venue. As per the Apprentices Act, 1961, no employment is guaranteed to apprentices on completion of the apprenticeship training.
