Stipend is subject to satisfactory performance and attendance. Poor performance or unauthorized absence may result in termination from the apprenticeship programme.
Application Fee
There is no application fee for BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026. There is also no written examination and no interview. All candidates can apply free of charge.

Selection Process
There is no written exam or interview. Selection is purely merit-based.
Step 1 – Application Screening: All submitted applications are screened for eligibility as per the prescribed qualification and conditions.
Step 2 – Merit List Preparation: A category-wise merit list is prepared for each trade at each complex location, at a ratio of 1:5 (five times the number of training slots). Merit is based on the percentage of marks obtained in the final qualifying examination (not semester-wise; only the final/consolidated mark sheet percentage is considered).
Step 3 – Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates are called for document/certificate verification in merit order in a 1:5 ratio against training slots. Communication is through the registered email only. No TA/DA will be paid for attending document verification.
Step 4 – Offer of Engagement: Candidates found eligible at document verification are offered engagement immediately, subject to availability of training slots. Remaining eligible candidates are placed on a Reserved Waiting Panel maintained at five times the training slot strength, and are offered engagement in merit order as slots arise.
Step 5 – Final Engagement: Candidates accepting the engagement offer must complete the tri-partite apprenticeship contract on the NATS or NAPS website, and submit a medical certificate (in the prescribed format) and a police verification certificate.
How to Apply for BEML Apprentice Recruitment 2026
This is a TWO-STEP application process. You must complete Step 1 before you can apply on the BEML portal.
Step 1 – Register on NAPS or NATS (Mandatory first step):
- If applying for ITI trades: Register on the National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal at apprenticeshipindia.gov.in and complete your profile fully with all required documents.
- If applying for Degree or Diploma trades: Register on the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal at nats.education.gov.in and complete your profile fully.
- Obtain your NAPS/NATS registration/enrolment number – this is mandatory for the BEML application.
Step 2 – Apply on the BEML Recruitment Portal:
- Visit recruitment.bemlindia.in and go to the Apprentices section.

Important Instructions
- Only ONE application per trade per location is permitted. Multiple applications for the same trade at the same complex, or for the same trade at different complexes in the same application, will be summarily rejected without any intimation.
- Candidates found ineligible or providing false or incomplete information or documents will be disqualified at any stage, including during the period of engagement.
- Completion of the apprenticeship programme does NOT entitle the apprentice to any claim for employment with BEML.
- Apprentices are not permitted to enrol in any regular course or take up any job during their one-year apprenticeship tenure.
