Eligibility Criteria
For PGT posts, candidates must hold a Master’s degree in the concerned subject or a specialization in the concerned subject, having studied the subject at graduation level, along with a B.Ed. component from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks in aggregate, or equivalent qualifications as specified in the notification. For the TGT (Social Studies) post, candidates must hold a relevant graduate/postgraduate degree with a B.Ed. qualification from an NCTE-recognized institution, along with having qualified the UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UPTET) or Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET Paper-II), and must have studied two subjects out of History, Geography, Economics, and Political Science at the graduation level. Candidates must also have competence to teach through English and Hindi media. The maximum age limit is 50 years as on 1 July 2026.
Honorarium
Selected PGT candidates will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs. 35,750, while the selected TGT candidate will receive a monthly honorarium of Rs. 34,125.
Selection Process
Selection for the Guest Faculty posts of TGT and PGT will be made on the basis of merit and interview. Candidates who remain absent for the interview will have their application automatically rejected. The date and venue for the interview will be communicated separately to eligible candidates.
