Assam SLET Result 2026 Out

The SLET Commission, Assam (North-Eastern Region), Gauhati University, Guwahati has released the result of the State Level Eligibility Test (SLET/SET) 2026 on 06 August 2026 via Notification No. SET/RP/26/114/11338, for the examination held on 15 March 2026. The result has been uploaded on the official SLET NE website sletne.org. A total of 1,144 candidates have been declared qualified across 31 subjects in this cycle. The result is in the form of a Result Sheet PDF (listing roll numbers of qualified candidates) along with a separate subject-wise and category-wise Cut-off Marks PDF, both available for direct download at sletne.org. The result has been finalised as per the UGC circular No. F-4-2/90 (NET) dated 13th June, 2017. Successful candidates must note that SLET Certificates will be issued after 45 days and will require document verification and a fee deposit of Rs. 250 at sletneonline.co.in or through bank challan.

Important Note: Three things every candidate must act on immediately after checking the result. First, qualifying the SLET does not automatically issue you a certificate – successful candidates must deposit Rs. 250 at sletneonline.co.in or through bank challan and submit original documents (PG mark-sheet, Caste certificate/Special Category certificates/up-to-date Non-Creamy Layer certificate, and SLET Admit Card) for verification; certificates will only be issued after 45 days and only after successful document verification. Second, the Non-Creamy Layer (NCL) certificate must be up-to-date – “up-to-date” here means the certificate must have been valid as on the last date of filling up the examination form, not merely the date of issue or receipt; if your NCL certificate was not valid as on the form-filling last date, your candidature may be treated as unsuccessful even if your roll number appears in the result list. Third, if any discrepancy is detected between your submitted documents and the records at verification, the candidature will be treated as unsuccessful and no certificate will be issued – ensure all original documents are in order before initiating the certificate process.
