A total of 2,008 training slots are available across trades at the Ajmer, Bikaner, Jaipur and Jodhpur divisions and associated units. Online applications open on 23 October 2026 and close on 22 November 2026 at 23:59 hours at rrcjaipur.in.
Important Note
1. This is a revised notification. The earlier notification for this cycle was cancelled. Only Notice No. 04/2026 (NWR/AA) dated 21 October 2026 is valid.
2. You can choose only one unit. Check that your ITI trade has a slot in the unit you plan to choose before applying — a change of unit after selection is not allowed.
3. Completing this apprenticeship does not give any right to absorption into the Railway. This is a training engagement under the Apprentices Act 1961, not a railway job.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Passed Class 10 or its equivalent (under the 10+2 system) with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate from a recognised Board. No rounding off of marks is done.
Technical Qualification
National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT or SCVT.
Both qualifications must be held as on the date of submission of the application. Candidates awaiting results of their final examination are not eligible.
An Aadhaar Card is mandatory. The 12-digit Aadhaar number must be entered at registration, and the name, father’s name and date of birth on the Aadhaar must exactly match the Matriculation certificate.

Fee is paid online through the payment gateway at rrcjaipur.in after completing the application. Payment can be made by debit card, credit card or internet banking. No changes are allowed after fee payment.
Selection Process
There is no written examination. Selection is by merit list only.
The merit list is prepared on the basis of the simple average of the percentage of marks in Matriculation and the ITI marks in the relevant trade. Both percentages are added and divided by 2.
- All subjects in the Matriculation marksheet are counted — not just selected subjects.
- The ITI percentage is taken from the provisional or final NCVT/SCVT certificate.
- If two candidates have the same average, the older candidate is ranked higher. If the date of birth is also the same, the candidate who passed Matriculation earlier is given preference.
- The merit list is prepared division/unit-wise, trade-wise and category-wise, equal to the number of available slots.
- After the merit list is finalised, it is sent to the respective divisions/units for Document Verification and Medical Examination.
How to Apply Online
- Check the trade-wise slot list in the notification PDF and confirm your ITI trade has a slot in one of the units. You can choose only one unit.
- Visit rrcjaipur.in from 23 October 2026 and open the online application link.
- Register using your 12-digit Aadhaar number, an active mobile number and a valid email address.
- Fill in all personal, educational and technical details carefully. No changes are allowed after final submission.
- Upload your colour photograph (3.5 cm × 3.5 cm, not older than 3 months, JPG/JPEG, 100 DPI, 20 KB to 70 KB, clear front view, no cap or sunglasses) and signature (3.5 cm × 2.5 cm, JPG/JPEG, 100 DPI, 20 KB to 30 KB).
- Pay the fee online if applicable and download the application form.
- Note your Registration Number. Keep the printout and e-receipt. Do not send any printout to RRC by post.

Important Instructions
- Apply online only. Only one application per candidate. Multiple applications with different particulars are summarily rejected.
- Choose the unit carefully. Change of unit, trade or division after selection is not allowed.
- Submit well before the closing date. RRC does not accept responsibility if the application cannot be submitted on the last day due to website load.
- Any deviation in name, father’s name or date of birth from the Matriculation certificate during Document Verification leads to cancellation and debarment.
- Completion of the apprenticeship training does not give any right to absorption in the Railway.
- No TA/DA is paid for Document Verification.
