About the Project

Nature of Work:
- Data collection from surgical patients (both emergency and elective procedures)
- Interviews with healthcare professionals
- Follow-up of patients for surgical site infections

Roles and Responsibilities of Project Nurse-II
- Point of contact for coordinating day-to-day activities in consultation with Project Investigators
- Active participation in finalisation of study tools, recruitment of study participants, development of content, data collection, record keeping and implementation of the study
- Implementation of the research protocol including recruiting research subjects, conducting in-depth interviews and qualitative data coding, maintaining follow-up records and data entry
- Organising time-to-time sensitisation and training activities as required for the project
- Compilation of results, uploading data (e-CRF) to the database and finalisation of report
- Updating Principal Investigators regarding project progress on a timely basis and coordinating with PIs and Co-PIs of other sites
- Accomplishing all work assigned towards project activities; candidature may be terminated if performance is not satisfactory
