Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must hold a full-time regular AICTE-approved Diploma in the relevant engineering discipline: Chemical Engineering or Chemical Technology for Process Technician/Operator, Mechanical Engineering for Technician/Operator (Mechanical), and Electrical Engineering or related specializations for Technician (Electrical). A minimum of one year of post-qualification work experience or apprenticeship in the respective industry is also required. The age limit is 18 to 25 years for General/EWS category as on 1 July 2026, with relaxation up to 28 years for OBC (NCL), 30 years for SC/ST, and 35-40 years for PwBD candidates depending on category.

Application Fee

General, EWS, and OBC category candidates were required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 590, while SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-Servicemen candidates were exempted from the application fee.

Selection Process

Selection for the Non-Management posts is made through a Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of 100 objective questions worth 100 marks, covering Domain Knowledge (60 marks) and General Aptitude (40 marks), to be completed in 120 minutes with no negative marking, followed by document verification and medical examination of shortlisted candidates.

Pay Scale

Selected candidates will be placed in NG-2 Grade with a pay scale of Rs. 26,500 to Rs. 34,000, along with Industrial Dearness Allowance and other applicable benefits as per BPCL policy.
