DPCC Group A Recruitment 2026

The Delhi Pollution Control Committee (DPCC), functioning under the Department of Environment, Government of NCT of Delhi, has released Advertisement No. DPCC/(3)(2)(86)/Admn-26 inviting applications for 17 tentative Group A posts on a regular basis. The recruitment covers three posts – Senior Environmental Engineer (SEE) at Pay Level 12, Environmental Engineer (EE) at Pay Level 11, and Assistant Environmental Engineer (AEE) at Pay Level 10. There is no online application mode. Applications must be submitted in the prescribed physical format along with Annexure-1 and self-attested supporting documents, sent by Registered Post, Speed Post or By-Hand to the DPCC Administrative Officer at Shastri Park, Delhi. The last date is not a fixed calendar date – it is within 21 days from the date of publication of the advertisement in the Employment News or Rozgar Samachar, and candidates must check the Employment News or the DPCC website to determine the exact deadline. All 11 AEE posts are exclusively reserved for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Delhi and PwBD candidates only.

Important – Read Before You Apply: Four things about this recruitment that need to be clear before you fill a single field. First, the last date is not printed in the notification – it is 21 days from the Employment News or Rozgar Samachar publication date, which varies depending on which issue it was published. Check dpcc.delhi.gov.in and the relevant Employment News issue immediately to confirm the exact deadline before posting your application. Second, all 11 AEE posts are exclusively reserved for OBC (NCL) Delhi and PwBD candidates – General, EWS, SC, ST and OBC (Outside Delhi) candidates cannot apply for the AEE post and their applications will not be entertained. Third, OBC (Outside Delhi) candidates are treated as Unreserved (UR) throughout this recruitment – only OBC certificates issued by the Revenue Department of GNCT of Delhi, or certificates issued by a competent authority outside Delhi that are mandatorily based on an OBC certificate issued by GNCT of Delhi to a family member residing in Delhi before 08 September 1993, are valid. Fourth, the selection system awards marks for GATE score and UPSC technical exam selection – if you hold a valid GATE rank or have been selected by UPSC for a technical/engineering post at Level 10 or above, do not omit this from Annexure-1, as it carries 20 marks each out of 100.
