PSSSB Group D Recruitment 2026 Reopened

The Subordinate Services Selection Board, Punjab (PSSSB) has reopened the online application window for Group D (Common Cadre) posts under Advertisement No. 04 of 2026 vide an amendment notice dated 24 August 2026. A total of 1401 Group D vacancies – including Sewadar, Chowkidar, Safai Sewak, Sweeper-cum-Attendant, Water Carrier-cum-Sweeper, Cattle Attendant, Bull Attendant, Pig Attendant and more – have been received from various Punjab Government departments, primarily the Directorate of Animal Husbandry and Deputy Commissioner offices. The reopened application window runs from 25 August 2026 to 4 September 2026. Candidates who already applied during the original window (27 February to 20 March 2026) do not need to reapply. The pay scale is Level-1, Rs. 18,000 to Rs. 56,900 under the 7th Pay Commission.

Candidates who already applied in the original window (27 February to 20 March 2026) must NOT apply again.

  1. Visit the official PSSSB website and click “Apply Online.”
  2. New candidates click “Registration” and generate a User ID and Password. Existing candidates log in directly.
  3. Fill in personal, educational and other details accurately. Upload a passport-size photo and scanned signature.
  4. Click “Attach Annexure” and upload the Class 10 certificate, qualification certificates and other required documents.
  5. Click “Make Payment” and pay the applicable fee online.
  6. Click “Submit” to complete. Print the confirmation for future reference.
  7. Complete both fee payment and submission before 4 September 2026.

  • Candidates who applied in the original February-March 2026 window must not reapply.
  • Category cannot be changed after submission. No corrections allowed at any stage.
