Konkan Railway (KRCL) Recruitment 2026 - 7 Contract Posts

Konkan Railway Corporation Limited (KRCL), a Government of India Undertaking under the Ministry of Railways, has released Employment Notification No. CO/P-R/15C/2026 dated 17 August 2026 inviting candidates for 7 fixed-term contract posts in the Signal and Telecom (S&T) Department under the Project Development and Monitoring Cell (PDMC). The posts cover Deputy General Manager/S&T (1), Senior Project Manager/S&T (1), Project Engineer/S&T-AUTOCAD (2), Senior Technician (1), Technician (1) and Cook (1). All posts are Unreserved. Monthly consolidated remuneration ranges from Rs. 25,700 (Cook) to Rs. 1,26,580 (DGM) depending on city class of posting. Selection is through a walk-in interview at Hotel The Shanti Naturecure on Ganga, 244/14 AIIMS Road, Rishikesh, Uttarakhand on 7 September 2026 (for DGM, Sr. PM and Project Engineer posts) and 8 September 2026 (for Sr. Technician, Technician and Cook posts), with registration from 9:00 to 12:00 hrs on the respective date only. No TA or DA is paid by KRCL. These are purely contractual posts – selected candidates cannot claim permanent absorption and must execute an indemnity bond of Rs. 50,000 on Rs. 100 stamp paper before joining.

Important Note: Three things every candidate must prepare before reaching Rishikesh. First, the walk-in venue is in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand – far from KRCL’s corporate office in Navi Mumbai and its usual Konkan coast operational area. Plan travel and accommodation well in advance, at your own cost. KRCL does not pay any TA or DA for attending the interview, and no accommodation is provided. Be prepared to stay for a minimum of 2 days at your own expense. Second, registration closes at 12:00 hrs (noon) on the walk-in day – there is no flexibility on this. Candidates who arrive after noon will not be registered and will not be interviewed regardless of how far they have travelled. Report by 10:00 AM at the latest to be safe. Third, AUTOCAD experience is mandatory for Project Engineer posts and desirable for Sr. Technician and Technician posts – candidates applying for Project Engineer or S&T Technician roles who do not have documented AutoCAD experience should not misrepresent this. The interview committee specifically assesses technical competency in Signal and Telecom project execution; experience certificates from recognised organisations must be brought as originals.
