Educational Qualification (Common Structure)
For all 7 trades, the essential qualification follows the same pattern:
Option 1: SSC or 10th Standard or equivalent with Science subjects, minimum 55% marks, plus an ITI certificate or national or state trade certificate in the relevant trade from a recognised institution.
Option 2: SSC or 10th Standard with Science and minimum 55% marks, plus 2 years of full-time apprentice trainee experience in the relevant trade from a recognised institution.
Option 3: SSC or 10th Standard with Science and minimum 55% marks, plus 3 years of relevant work experience in the specific trade in a Ministry, Department, Organisation, PSU or Autonomous Body under the Government of India, State or UT.
The specific trade for each post code must match the ITI certificate or experience claimed. Part-time or daily-wage experience is not counted. Experience is counted only from the date the minimum prescribed educational qualification was acquired.
Candidates from Universities or Institutions awarding CGPA or grades must convert to percentage as per the Board or University formula and upload a copy of that conversion formula.
