GPSC DySO AND DEPUTY MAMLATDAR REVISED RESULT 2026 OUT

The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC), Gandhinagar has issued Notification No. APE-127/2024-25-Main-CNF (Revised) dated 05 August 2026, publishing the Revised Final Result for the posts of Deputy Section Officer (DySO), Class-III and Deputy Mamlatdar, Class-III under the Special Recruitment Drive for Persons with Disabilities (PwD) notified under Advertisement No. 127/2024-25. The earlier final result declared on 16 July 2026 has been cancelled ab initio (treated as if it never existed) after GPSC received candidate representations regarding discrepancies in disability percentage between what was entered in the application form and what the medical certificate produced at document verification showed. The revised result provisionally lists 63 successful candidates across PwD Groups A, B, C and D (d and e). The result is provisional and is subject to the final decision of the Hon’ble High Court of Gujarat in SCA No. 7858/2026, as well as the pending medical examination for three referred candidates. The result PDF is available at gpsc.gujarat.gov.in.

Important Note: Three things every candidate must understand clearly. First, the earlier result dated 16 July 2026 has been cancelled ab initio – it is treated as if it was never declared. This revised result supersedes it completely. Candidates who appeared in the earlier result list must re-verify their status in this revised list – their position may have changed. Second, this revised result is provisional in two ways – it is subject to (a) the final order of the Gujarat High Court in SCA No. 7858/2026 and (b) the outcome of pending medical examinations for three referred candidates whose medical status has not yet been finalised. Final confirmation of selection depends on both these conditions being resolved. Third, success in this result does not guarantee appointment – even selected candidates will not be appointed unless the Government is satisfied on all counts (character, antecedents, and suitability) as per the applicable rules.

Why Was the Earlier Result Cancelled?

GPSC received representations from candidates after the earlier final result dated 16 July 2026 was declared. On review, GPSC found discrepancies between the disability percentage entered by candidates at the time of application and the disability percentage mentioned in the medical certificate produced during document verification after the preliminary test. In the larger interest of the candidates, the Commission took the decision to cancel the 16 July 2026 result ab initio (erasing it completely, as if it was never declared) and publish this revised provisional result after reassessing eligibility based on the correct disability percentage from the medical certificates.
