Eligibility Criteria & Conditions to Apply
- Candidate must have retired after working as a Principal, Associate Professor, or Assistant Professor for a minimum of 10 years.
- Adequate knowledge of computers and information technology is required; postgraduate degree holders will be preferred.

- Excellent communication, coordination, and counselling skills are required.
- Proficiency in Marathi, Hindi, and English is required.
- Preference will be given to candidates residing in the concerned district; no accommodation or food facilities will be provided.
- The appointment is purely contractual, initially for one year; minimum service of six months is required, and the contract may be extended or terminated by the competent authority.
- Resignation will not be accepted except in exceptional circumstances and with the approval of the competent authority.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing detailed information to students on the CET syllabus, eligibility criteria, application process, exam pattern, and timetable; assisting at every stage of the CAP process including form filling, document upload, fee payment, option registration, and allotment; guiding on technical issues related to the Front Desk portal, login, payment, and document updates; providing scholarship-related information; and offering career guidance, predictive counselling, alternative program guidance, and course mapping based on student interest, ability, and opportunity.
- Effectively supervising the administrative work of the centre and overseeing the work of technical assistants, counsellors, and other staff.
- Maintaining necessary coordination between educational institutions, exam centres, and CET Cell offices within the district.
- Recording student queries and complaints and ensuring their resolution, and coordinating with concerned offices/directorates for pending complaints.
- Preparing and submitting monthly and other required reports within the stipulated time as directed by CET Cell.
Salary / Remuneration
Selected candidates will receive a fixed monthly remuneration of Rs. 64,000.
