Selected candidates will be posted in the Alipurduar, Katihar, Rangiya, Lumding, or Tinsukia Divisions, or at the NF Railway Headquarters, depending on sports requirement and vacancy availability.

- The candidate must be an eligible sportsperson meeting the sports norms prescribed for the applied level.

Sports Norms
For Level-3/2 posts (21 vacancies) – a candidate must satisfy at least one:
- Represented the country in any Category-B championship/event, or
- Secured at least 3rd position in any Category-C championship/event, or
- Secured at least 3rd position in Senior/Youth/Junior National Championships, or
- Secured at least 3rd position in National Games under the Indian Olympic Association, or
- Secured at least 3rd position in All India Inter-University Championships under the Association of Indian Universities, or
- Secured 1st position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category).
For Level-1 posts (35 vacancies) – a candidate must satisfy at least one:
- Represented the country in any Category-C championship/event, or
- Secured at least 3rd position in Federation Cup Championships (Senior Category), or
- Represented a state or equivalent unit – except in marathon and cross country, where at least 8th position in Senior National Championships is required.

Selected candidates will be placed in Level-3/2 or Level-1 of the Pay Matrix under the 7th Central Pay Commission, depending on the post. The exact monthly salary figure is not specified in this notice.
