The Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has declared the final result of the Combined Competitive Examination (Main) for the posts of Deputy Section Officer, Class-III and Deputy Mamlatdar, Class-III, under Advertisement No. 08/2025-26. Reservation, MRC Candidates and Women Reservation Details

Meritorious Reserved Category (MRC) Candidates

As per applicable G.A.D. Circulars (dated 29/01/2000, 23/07/2004, and 07/02/2019), reserved category candidates who scored equal to or more than the general qualifying standard, and did not avail any age/qualifying relaxation at any stage, are selected against unreserved posts as MRC candidates. A total of 36 MRC candidates have been recommended for appointment on unreserved posts:

As per applicable G.A.D. notifications/circulars and GPSC’s Office Order dated 20-09-2025, 35 women candidates were required to be selected. Against this requirement, 39 women candidates have been selected.

The number of candidates selected from the PwD category has been decided as per GAD Resolution No. CRR-102017-122639-G-2 dated 20-11-2024 and GPSC Office Orders dated 04-07-2025 and 20-09-2025.

Paper-1 (Gujarati Language) and Paper-2 (English Language) of the Main Examination for Advertisement Nos. 67,127/2024-25 and 08/2025-26 were held together for all candidates on 22 February 2026. Following a notice published on 10 February 2026, candidates registered under more than one of these advertisements could submit a Self-Declaration so that their marks in these common papers are considered across all the relevant advertisements.
