JNU Non Teaching Recruitment 2026

Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), New Delhi – one of India’s premier Central Universities – has released the official recruitment notification for 267 Non-Teaching Posts across Group A, B and C levels vide Advertisement No. 01/RC(NT)/2026. Posts range from senior technical positions like Executive Engineer and System Analyst to clerical and support staff posts like Junior Assistant, Cook, Mess Helper, and Multi Tasking Staff. Online applications are open from 29 June 2026 to 27 July 2026 (up to 05:00 PM). Candidates are advised to read the complete official notification carefully before applying.

Important Note: Candidates can apply for more than one post as per their eligibility – however, the application fee must be paid separately for each post. No TA / DA is admissible for attending any stage of selection. Group B and C posts have no interview – selection is based on written test and skill test only. For Group A posts, interview carries 30% weightage. OBC candidates must produce a valid NCL-OBC certificate issued on or after 01 April 2026 – older certificates will not be accepted.

  1. Visit the official JNU Samarth portal at jnunt.samarth.edu.in OR navigate to the career section at jnu.ac.in/career.
  2. Click on “Apply Online” against Advt. No. 01/RC(NT)/2026.
  3. Complete the registration using a valid email ID and mobile number (new users).
  4. Log in using your Registration ID and Password.
  5. Select the post(s) you wish to apply for and fill in the online application form carefully with all personal, educational, experience, and category details.
  6. Upload scanned copies of photograph, signature, and relevant documents in the prescribed format and file size.
  7. Pay the application fee online separately for each post applied.
  8. Review all details carefully in the preview before final submission.
  9. Submit the form and download / print the confirmation page for future reference.
