UPSSSC JE Recruitment 2026 - 134 Posts

The Uttar Pradesh Adhinasth Seva Chayan Aayog (UPSSSC), Lucknow, has released Advertisement No. 19-Pariksha/2026 dated 14 August 2026 for the Avar Abhiyanta (Krishi) Mukhya Pariksha (PRO/PO-2025)/19 – the Main Examination for 134 Junior Engineer (Agriculture) posts under the Directorate of Agriculture (Krishi Nideshalaya), Uttar Pradesh. Only candidates who appeared in UPSSSC PET-2025 and hold a valid, non-zero, non-negative PET score are eligible to apply. The required qualification is a 3-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, UP or an equivalent AICTE-approved institution. The application window opens on 17 September 2026 and closes on 7 October 2026. Application fee is Rs. 25 (online processing fee only) for all categories. The Main Examination is a 100-question objective paper for 100 marks in 2 hours with 1/4 negative marking per wrong answer, covering Agricultural Engineering subject knowledge (65 marks), Computer and IT (15 marks) and General Knowledge of UP (20 marks).

Important Note: Three things every eligible candidate must verify before the portal opens on 17 September 2026. First, this post requires a Diploma in Agricultural Engineering specifically – not a civil, electrical or mechanical engineering diploma. Candidates holding Diploma in other branches of engineering are not eligible for this recruitment even if they appeared in PET-2025. The qualification must be from Pravidhik Shiksha Parishad, UP or an AICTE-approved equivalent, and must be in hand by 7 October 2026. Second, the application portal opens on 17 September 2026 and is not yet live – the notification is published today (14 August 2026) but the application window is over a month away. There is enough time to prepare, but the EWS certificate if applicable must be dated between 1 April 2026 and 7 October 2026 (FY 2025-26 income basis, valid for FY 2026-27) – candidates who need an EWS certificate should obtain it before the portal opens. Third, the correction window is limited in scope – only the correspondence address, EWS or horizontal reservation category, educational qualification details and marital status can be modified during the correction window (up to 14 October 2026). No other fields can be changed after submission. Verify every detail before clicking Submit.
