UPSSSC FSL Selection Process 2026
The UPSSSC FSL Recruitment 2026 follows a two-stage process.
- Shortlisting through UPSSSC PET-2025: Candidates holding a valid PET-2025 scorecard applied for the FSL posts. Based on PET-2025 scores and eligibility, 6,226 candidates were shortlisted for the Main Examination against 208 vacancies.

UPSSSC FSL Exam 2026: Preparation Strategy
The 27 September exam is days away. Here is how to use the remaining time most effectively.
Prioritise by weightage. Forensic Science (25 marks) should get the most attention of any single subject. Computer & IT (15 marks) and UP GK (20 marks) together carry 35 marks and are more time-efficient to prepare. Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics each carry only 10 marks, so focus on high-frequency topics within each rather than attempting exhaustive coverage.
For Forensic Science, cover crime scene investigation, fingerprint classification, blood and DNA evidence, toxicology, questioned documents, ballistics, and cyber forensics in that order of priority. These topics appear most frequently in forensic science competitive exams.
For Computer & IT, revise MS-Office basics, internet fundamentals, digital payments, and the AI/IoT/ML awareness section. Questions here tend to be conceptual rather than application-based.
For UP GK, focus on the geography, economy and current events of Uttar Pradesh, which are more dynamic and thus more likely to be tested. History and culture can be revised from standard UP GK books.
For Mathematics, prioritise arithmetic topics (percentage, profit-loss, time-work, speed-distance) since these are the fastest to score and most frequently tested.
