Posts include Village Administrative Officer (VAO), Junior Assistant, Typist, Steno-Typist, Bill Collector, Revenue Assistant, Tax Collector, Executive Officer Grade IV, Forest Watcher and more. Online applications are open from 6 October 2026 and close on 5 November 2026 at 11:59 PM at tnpscexams.in. The written examination is scheduled for 10 January 2027.
Important Note: Three things every candidate must know. First, Tamil is mandatory. Part A of the written exam is a Tamil Eligibility-cum-Scoring Test carrying 100 questions and 150 marks. Candidates must secure at least 40% (60 marks) in Part A for Parts B and C to be evaluated at all. Without clearing Part A, you will not be considered for selection regardless of your General Studies and Aptitude scores. Second, there are 46 post entries with different post codes – each has its own qualification, age limit and reservation structure. Do NOT assume your eligibility based on one post.
