No. TISS/TEACHING/2026/01 inviting online applications for 9 teaching positions across its three off-campuses: Hyderabad, Tuljapur and Guwahati. The posts are Professor (2), Associate Professor (3) and Assistant Professor (4) in disciplines including Social Work, Statistics, Development Studies, Social Sciences and Sociology. NET/SLET/SET Exemption for Assistant Professor Posts
Candidates who have been awarded a Ph.D. in accordance with UGC Regulations 2009, 2016 or 2019 are exempted from NET/SLET/SET. Candidates registered for Ph.D. prior to 11 July 2009 are also exempted subject to fulfilling all five conditions specified in UGC norms (regular mode, external examiners, open viva voce, 2 research papers, 2 conference presentations). NET/SLET/SET is also not required for disciplines in which these tests are not conducted by UGC/CSIR.

Important Instructions
