About SSC Selection Post Phase 14 Examination 2026

The SSC Selection Post Phase 14 (Phase-XIV/2026) is a centrally conducted examination by the Staff Selection Commission for various posts across ministries, departments, and offices of the Government of India. The computer-based examination was held over multiple shifts from 16 to 26 September 2026. SSC has now released the tentative answer key alongside each candidate’s individual response sheet. Candidates can log in to the SSC portal to view their responses placed next to the official tentative answers, identify any discrepancies, and submit paid objections before the window closes.

Marking Scheme

ParticularsMarks
Total Questions100
Total Marks200
Marks for Correct Answer+2
Deduction for Wrong Answer-0.50
Unattempted Questions0

Formula: Total Marks = (Correct Answers x 2) – (Wrong Answers x 0.50)

Example: A candidate attempts 85 questions, answers 70 correctly and 15 incorrectly. Score = (70 x 2) – (15 x 0.50) = 140 – 7.5 = 132.5 marks.

This calculation is an estimate based on the tentative key. Your actual score may change after the final answer key is published.
