Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Degree in the concerned Engineering discipline (Civil/Electrical/Mechanical/Telecommunications) from a recognised university or institute, or a three-year Diploma in the concerned Engineering discipline. Requirements vary slightly by the specific recruiting organisation and post – candidates should check the detailed notification for organisation-wise qualification.

Age Limit (as on 1 August 2026)

  • Most posts: up to 30 years
  • CPWD and Lighthouse & Lightship organisation posts: up to 32 years
  • Age relaxation: 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC, and 10-15 years for PwBD candidates, as per government norms
