City Intimation Slip vs Admit Card
The City Intimation Slip and the Admit Card are two separate documents in the SSC CGL process. The city slip, released first, informs candidates only of their allotted exam city, exam date, and shift, allowing them to plan their travel and accommodation in advance. The admit card, released closer to the exam date, carries the exact examination center address, reporting time, and detailed entry instructions, and is the document that must be carried to the exam center along with a valid photo ID.
