Educational Qualification
One of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university in any subject with at least one paper in Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Social Science, Sociology or Psychology at graduate level, or
- Bachelor’s degree in any subject with 50% marks in Mathematics at Class 12 (12th standard).
Mandatory Additional Requirements
- Language at HSLC: Must have studied both English and one local language (Assamese, Bengali or Bodo) as HSLC subjects.
- Computer certificate: Minimum 6-month Computer Course from a government-recognised institute. Exempted: candidates with BCA, B.Tech in IT, or Engineering degree with IT / Computer Application specialisation.
- Employment Exchange: Valid Employment Exchange registration certificate in the State of Assam.
- Caste certificate: Must be issued by the Government of Assam (for reserved category candidates).
- Government employees: Must produce a No Objection Certificate when asked.
