The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has declared the RBI Assistant Mains Result 2026 on 24 September 2026 for the recruitment of Assistant (Panel Year 2025) against 650 vacancies. The result is available in PDF format on the official RBI Opportunities Portal at opportunities.rbi.org.in. Candidates who appeared in the Mains Examination held on 7 June 2026 can download the result PDF and search for their roll number. Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the result PDF are shortlisted for the next and final stage of selection, the Language Proficiency Test (LPT). There is no interview in RBI Assistant recruitment. The final merit list and selection is based entirely on Mains marks, subject to qualifying the LPT.
Important Note: Three things every candidate must know right away. First, there is no interview in this recruitment. The Mains examination is the merit-deciding stage. Your rank and selection depend entirely on your Mains score — provided you clear the LPT. Second, the LPT is qualifying in nature. No marks from the LPT are added to your score, but failing the LPT means you will not be selected even if you are ranked in the Mains merit list. Third, the LPT schedule, venue and reporting instructions have not yet been released for this cycle. Keep monitoring rbi.org.in and opportunities.rbi.org.in for the LPT call letter and detailed instructions.
