Selection Process
CERT-In will shortlist candidates purely on the strength of their GATE score — there’s no separate written exam for this recruitment. Here’s how it works:
- Only candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and have completed their registration will move forward in the process.
- Shortlisting for the interview/interaction round will be done in a 1:5 ratio, based on GATE score, separately for each discipline and category.
- If multiple candidates share the same GATE score at the cut-off point, all of them will be shortlisted for interview — even if that pushes the number beyond the 1:5 ratio.
- GATE scores from 2024, 2025, and 2026 will all carry equal weightage, so candidates with any of these three years’ scores can apply.
