Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must hold a full-time regular B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc (Engineering)/IDD degree from a recognized university or institute, in Electrical, Power Systems, or Power Engineering for the Electrical discipline, or in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Technology for the Computer Science discipline, with a minimum of 65% marks or equivalent CGPA. Selection Process
Selection for this post is based on a three-stage weighted process. GATE 2027 normalized score carries 85% weightage, Group Discussion carries 3% weightage and is mandatory but non-qualifying on its own, and Personal Interview carries 12% weightage and is mandatory to qualify. Compensation and Service Bond
During the one-year training period, selected candidates will be placed at the E2 level with a pay scale of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1,60,000 under the IDA pay structure, along with applicable allowances. Post-regularization, candidates continue on the same pay scale with additional benefits including performance-related pay, HRA or company accommodation, conveyance reimbursement, mobile facility, insurance, Provident Fund, gratuity, and pension.
Selected candidates must execute a service bond of Rs. 5,00,000 for General/OBC-NCL/EWS candidates, or Rs. 2,50,000 for SC/ST/PwBD candidates, committing to a minimum of 3 years of service after completion of training.
