Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must have passed Matriculation from a recognized institution and must have completed a minimum 5-day training under the Agriculture and Horticulture Directorate. Knowledge of the local language notified for Dhanbad district is mandatory, along with the ability to climb trees and ride a bicycle. The age limit is a minimum of 18 years and maximum of 40 years.

Local residency requirements apply centre-wise: candidates for the Dhanbad centre must be residents of Dhanbad and Baliapur blocks; for the Nirsa centre, residents of Kaliyasol, Egarkund, and Nirsa blocks; for the Govindpur centre, residents of Govindpur, Tundi, and Purbi Tundi blocks; and for the Topchanchi centre, residents of Topchanchi and Baghmara blocks.

Honorarium

Selected candidates will receive a monthly honorarium (Parishramik) of Rs. 11,851.

Selection Process

A merit list will be prepared by the competent authority based on general Hindi knowledge, local language proficiency, and character certificate of the candidates. Priority will be given to candidates who have completed the mandatory 5-day training or training of a longer duration, as well as candidates already working under the Agriculture Department. The final decision of the selection committee will be binding, and appointments will be made as per the district roster.
