- National Trade Certificate or State Trade Certificate (ITI certificate) in the relevant trade from a recognised institution.
- Two years of full-time Apprenticeship Training in the relevant trade from a recognised institution.
- Three years of work experience in the relevant trade in an eligible Central or State Government department, public sector undertaking or autonomous organization, as specified in the official notification.
